As a Trade Supervisor at Hyde, you will play a key role within the Responsive Repairs team. This role is primarily office-based and operational, focusing on effective case management, resource planning, and ensuring the delivery of a customer-focused repairs service. While you will occasionally visit sites or attend external meetings, the majority of your work will be office/desk-based, coordinating and monitoring the performance of trade operatives and managing repair cases.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the allocation of repair jobs, ensuring works are raised, coded, and tracked correctly to budgets and timescales.
  • Manage a team of trades operatives remotely, ensuring right-first-time completion, productivity, and compliance with health and safety.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs such as Customer Satisfaction, RTF, and job completion times.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, attending meetings where required.
  • Support operational improvements and ensure effective use of resources across the Responsive Repairs service.
  • Occasionally travel between our London Bridge and Tower Hamlets offices if required.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Experience managing a team.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Experience working within social housing is beneficial but not essential.
  • A background in trades or repairs is advantageous but not essential.
