YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
As a Post-Production Technical Operator (PPA26) you will :
- Edit content for a variety of BBC platforms.
- Digitise and manage content.
- Deliver TX files to the playout provider and keep systems and applications accurately up to date.
- Work collaboratively with a varied team and communicate across departments.
You will study for an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification. Teaching blocks at London South Bank University cover best practice for media ingest, storage management, media export, secure digital despatch, support for creative colleagues in content finishing, and quality assessment of finished content. Key modules include :

YOUR SKILLS AND ELIGIBILITY
We are looking for applicants who are passionate about media content, stay calm under pressure, possess organisational and problem-solving skills, can manage multiple deadlines, and are enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable to out-of-hours working.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age 18 or over by September 2026.Lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years before the apprenticeship starts.Legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.Identify as disabled under the Equality Act 2010.Educational prerequisites :
