We're looking for a passionate, dedicated Senior Recovery Nurse to join our Ophthalmology Theatres team. If you're a registered nurse with recovery experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care, we want to hear from you

Key responsibilities:

Lead and coach nursing staff

Deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced theatre environment

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Maintain the highest standards of care for our patients

Main duties of the job

  • To establish, lead and maintain high standards of pre/ peri and post-operative clinical care.
  • To coordinate clinical activities and develop clinical expertise through leadership.
  • To undertake teaching and training of both trained and untrained staff
  • To develop management skills and undertake management duties as directed by the Senior Sister
  • Participate on-call for the unit.
