<p>\"Project Atlantic\" is a new B2B SaaS start up, currently pre-market fit and operating in \"stealth\" mode. While initially based inside Control Risks, the intent is to have \"Project Atlantic\" spun out and independent at a future point. You will join a small, lean, and highly dynamic environment, driven by a common aspiration to fundamentally reimagine two decades of compliance and commerce assumptions and best practice. Creativity, passion, drive, dynamism, intellect, flexibility, and contrarian thinking will be the fundamental qualities we ask in those joining us. Given the lean nature of the team, we are seeking people who are curious to get involved in all aspects of the venture to build a common and seamless product not hindered by silos.<br/><br/>As Product Designer, you will be part of the founding team, responsible for painting color into a black & white image of the future. You will play a foundational role in defining the user experience, aesthetics, and usability of our platform concept. Working closely with product, engineering, and customers, you will translate insights from customer discovery and interviews into wireframes, prototypes, and an evolving design system that helps us achieve product-market fit. You will take ownership of both UX (user experience) and UI (user interface), ensuring the product is not only highly functional but also visually compelling—particularly in data visualization and workflow clarity.<br/><br/>This is a unique opportunity to define the look, feel, and usability of a product from scratch, working in a small, high-energy team solving customer problems in an innovative, beautiful and elegant way, developing long term product market fit in the process.<br/><br/><strong>Requirements</strong><br/><strong>What You\'ll Do:</strong><br/><strong>User-Centered Product Design & Research</strong><br/><br/></p><ul><li>In coordination with the Product Manager and other Project Atlantic leadership, lead customer discovery & usability testing - conduct interviews, gather feedback, and translate insights into tangible design solutions that drive us in the direction of product market fit.</li><li>Develop wireframes & prototypes - rapidly iterate on low-to-mid-fidelity designs for testing and validation with users.</li><li>Create clear user journeys - along with the Product Manager, map out workflows, ensuring intuitive navigation and interaction.</li><li>Own the visual information hierarchy - design interfaces that help users digest and interact with complex data efficiently.</li></ul><strong>UI, Aesthetics & Visual Identity</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Take ownership for defining and evolving the product\'s design system - establish the visual style and UI patterns from the ground up in high fidelity.</li><li>Balance aesthetics & functionality - ensure that our product is not only beautiful but also optimized for clarity and usability.</li><li>Innovate in data visualization - work on intelligent, interactive ways to represent compliance and governance data to drive user engagement.</li><li>Work closely with Head of Technology and others to ensure successful execution of design elements in technical development, ensuring exceptional client experience and satisfaction.</li><li>Have overall control of product design and elegance.
