<strong>Job Evaluator x 6 roles<br><br></strong><strong>Fixed Term Contract to 30/09/2026 <br><br></strong><strong>Grade 4 - £33,366 - £40,476<br><br></strong><strong>Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review<br><br></strong><strong>Working 36.5 hours per week<br><br></strong>Evaluating every role in the organisation, as part of the Equal Pay Programme, is one of the Birmingham’s key objectives for 2025.<br><br>To be able to achieve this we are looking for a further 6 Job Evaluators to join the team on a fixed term contract until 30th September 2026. These additional roles will be fundamental to the successful delivery of the programme.<br><br><strong>This Is a Great Opportunity For Applicants Who<br><br></strong><ul><li>Have knowledge of the NJC Job Evaluation Scheme (desirable) Gauge+ or are trained in a different scheme</li><li>Possess strong analytical skills</li><li>Have good experience of stakeholder management </li><li>Can work at pace to meet tight deadlines<br><br></li></ul>In return we will provide successful candidates with comprehensive Job Evaluator Training. Training will consist of:<br><br><ul><li>2 weeks face to face theoretical training on the NJC scheme and the use of Gauge+</li><li>10 weeks mentor support and development (hybrid work)<br><br></li></ul>Successful applicants will be expected to work from Council House in Birmingham following the theoretical training 3 days a week, this is to ensure consistency of evaluation across the evaluating team.<br><br>This work is vital for the future of the council, and we look forward to receiving your application for the role.
