About the role:

As the Director of Retention - Casino & Realsports at Sporty, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our retention strategy across both Casino and Realsports verticals, with the goal of maximizing player lifetime value in all markets.

You’ll drive customer engagement and loyalty through data-driven lifecycle management, retention marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, personalization, and player experience initiatives. By working closely with product, marketing, and operations teams, you’ll ensure that both Casino and Realsports players enjoy a seamless, engaging, and rewarding experience that keeps them active and loyal, while staying aligned with our broader business objectives.
We care deeply about our customers, and this role is central to anticipating their needs and delivering exceptional value through innovative, targeted retention and engagement programs.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and lead the retention strategy for both Casino and Realsports, driving engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value
  • Oversee the design and execution of CRM campaigns, loyalty frameworks, VIP management, and lifecycle initiatives across both verticals
  • Develop and optimize monthly retention and promotional calendars, ensuring relevance to player segments and market nuances
  • Leverage data and analytics to segment Casino and Realsports players, predict churn, and personalize retention efforts
  • Track and report on campaign and promotion performance, providing insights and driving continuous optimization
  • Collaborate with product teams to deliver new features and tools that enhance player engagement and retention across Casino and Realsports
  • Partner with central marketing and operations teams to align retention initiatives with acquisition campaigns and broader business goals
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging retention marketing tools to maintain a best-in-class approach
What you’ll bring:
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • A strong track record in retention marketing and operations, with proven experience in online Casino and/or Realsports
  • Demonstrated success in CRM, loyalty programs, VIP management, and player lifecycle marketing
  • Analytical expertise in player behavior, segmentation, campaign performance, and churn prevention strategies
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across multiple business areas
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to link retention activities to overall revenue and growth objectives
  • Knowledge of responsible gaming practices and fraud prevention in a retention context
