Warehouse Shipping Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to quality and accuracy.

Essential Job Duties

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality before shipping.
  • Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Generate and apply shipping labels and required documentation.
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Stage completed orders for outbound shipment.
  • Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
  • Forklift certification or experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for shipping software and inventory systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive lifting and packaging tasks.

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
