We are seeking a dedicated Remote Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate patient billing, processing insurance claims, and managing accounts in a dynamic and supportive environment... Key Responsibilities Credit Processing: Accurately process customer credit applications promptly, ensuring all records are maintained and updated for precision. Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries with empathy and provide effective solutions to enhance their experience. Account Monitoring: Keep a close eye on customer accounts, taking necessary actions as needed to maintain financial health. Pre-AR Operations: Manage pre-Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks before claims are sent to ensure smooth processing. Insurance Coordination: Follow up with insurance companies to resolve any issues after claims have been submitted. Payment Management: Post insurance payments quickly and accurately, and assist patients in setting up convenient payment plans. Continuous Learning: Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed about the latest billing processes and software advancements. Billing Administration: Perform routine operations related to medical billing and claims, contributing to the efficiency of our healthcare services. Qualifications Experience: Proven experience in medical billing, including accounts receivable, billing functions, and claim administration. Software Skills: Familiarity with Epic Software is advantageous. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry is beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is a plus. Communication: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
