THE ROLE We are looking for a talented Senior, Motion Designer to help bring creative ideas to life through motion, animation, video, and emerging digital experiences. This is a hands-on role for a highly skilled motion designer who combines strong storytelling instincts, technical expertise, and a passion for creating engaging content across social, digital, product, and brand experiences. Working closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Visual Designers, Generative AI Artists, and cross-functional partners, you will transform creative concepts into compelling motion experiences that connect with audiences and elevate the overall quality of the work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving creative challenges through motion, and has a strong point of view on how movement, pacing, sound, and storytelling work together to create impactful experiences. You are equally comfortable developing ideas, executing them at a high level, and helping raise the bar for motion craft across the team. WHAT YOU’LL DO Conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality motion graphics, animation, UI motion, video content, and digital experiences across campaigns and content initiatives. Develop storyboards, style frames, motion studies, and visual explorations that help communicate and refine creative concepts. Partner closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Visual Designers, and Generative AI Artists to create integrated audience experiences across channels and platforms. Collaborate on music selection, sound design, and audio direction to enhance storytelling, reinforce brand expression, and elevate the overall quality of motion experiences. Ensure all motion work maintains a high standard of craft, storytelling, technical execution, and brand consistency. Contribute to pre-production planning, production, and post-production efforts to help ensure creative intent is maintained through final delivery. Explore AI-assisted motion workflows, automation, and emerging creative technologies that improve efficiency and unlock new creative possibilities. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and quality. Participate in creative reviews, brainstorms, and cultural trend exploration, bringing fresh inspiration and motion-first thinking to the team. Stay current on motion design, animation, filmmaking, sound design, AI, and emerging technologies to continually push the work forward. WHAT YOU BRING 2+ years of professional experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role. A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing outstanding motion design, animation skills, and a solid understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout). Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere a plus. Deep understanding of AI workflows and tools. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. WHAT DO WE OFFER? Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling.
