<div><h2>Overview</h2><p>Priory North London is looking to recruit a Sessional DBT/EMDR/Schema/Addictions and Family Therapist to join the team. Priory Hospital North London is a private acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located in Southgate, overlooking Grovelands Park. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health difficulties as inpatients, day patients and outpatients. The hospital specialises in treatment of acute mental health conditions and addiction issues, and also has a Tier 6 specialist Obsessive-Compulsive disorders service in conjunction with the NHS. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London and parking is available on-site.</p><p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong> 26 September 2025</p><p><strong>Department:</strong> Allied Health Professionals and Psychology</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Contract</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Priory Hospital North London</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> £55.00 / hour</p><h2>What you\'ll be doing</h2><p>You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. We are not accepting applications for remote therapists.</p><ul><li>Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to inpatients and outpatients as required.</li><li>Conduct assessments and contribute to personalised treatment planning and risk management.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and participate in ward rounds and case discussions.</li><li>Support discharge planning and provide guidance to Therapy Assistants when applicable.</li><li>Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure adherence to professional standards and organisational policies.</li></ul><h2>What you\'ll bring to the role</h2><p>Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same. You should have a minimum of 2 years\\\' post-qualification clinical experience in your chosen field, and demonstrate good clinical judgement, strong communication skills and adherence to clinical governance. Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required (e.g., HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, BACP, NCPS, BPC, ACAT, and ACP); working towards accreditation can be considered in certain circumstances.</p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years\' post-qualification experience.</li><li>Strong clinical judgement, communication skills and governance adherence.</li><li>Accreditation with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, BACP, NCPS, BPC, ACAT, ACP); working towards accreditation considered in some cases.</li><li>Flexible hours; hours scheduled according to the centre\'s requirements.</li></ul><h2>What we will give you in return</h2><p>We offer regular career conversations, full training and pathways into leadership and clinical positions.
