Senior Recruiter

Who we are

Aurora's mission is to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly.

The Aurora Driver will create a new era in mobility and logistics, one that will bring a safer, more efficient, and more accessible future to everyone.

At Aurora, you will tackle massively complex problems alongside other passionate, intelligent individuals, growing as an expert while expanding your knowledge. For the latest news from Aurora, visit aurora.tech or follow us on LinkedIn.

Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We're searching for a Senior Recruiter.

At Aurora, we are solving one of the most complex engineering challenges of our generation. The societal and economic impact of autonomous technology is massive, and the level of scale we are operating at requires an incredibly functional, predictable recruiting engine. But the Aurora Driver doesn't build itself; it is built by the best. And our Talent Acquisition team finds them.

We are looking for a Recruiter who operates as a true partner to the business. At Aurora, Talent Acquisition deeply understands our product, holds an uncompromising talent bar, and drives the hiring strategies that bring the brightest minds to our mission.
In this Role, you will
  • Execute Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process for G&A (Finance, Legal, People) and GTM (Sales, Marketing, RevOps) teams to support our mission of bringing self-driving technology to life.
  • Drive Self-Sufficient Sourcing: Take full ownership of your candidate pipelines. While you will collaborate with the broader team, you do not depend on dedicated sourcers to build your funnel; you actively hunt, engage, and attract top-tier passive talent yourself.
  • Leverage Recruitment Data: Analyze hiring funnel data to reverse-engineer your individual metrics and targets, ensuring predictable, consistent delivery against business needs.
  • Partner with Leadership: Work closely with Hiring Managers to define recruitment processes and candidate profiles, meeting aggressive growth deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain ATS Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of reliability in candidate tracking and reporting, contributing to a transparent and secure hiring environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting in corporate, G&A, or GTM sectors within the technology industry; experience in standardized, data-driven environments preferred.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Proven track record of independently sourcing and building your own robust pipelines without relying on external or internal sourcing support.
  • Data Literacy: Ability to interpret recruitment analytics, understand funnel metrics, and use data to predict outcomes, resolve bottlenecks, and advise hiring managers.
  • Technical Execution: Proven ability to interpret market data/compensation layouts and utilize modern recruitment tools (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Self-Direction: Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively to build high-performing teams for complex, integrated technology.
  • Problem Solving: A customer-focused mindset regarding delivering quality to hiring managers and a willingness to reason, isolate, and resolve hiring bottlenecks.
  • Continuous Learning: Possesses a natural curiosity for emerging technologies, actively experimenting with and leveraging AI tools to optimize day-to-day workflows, maximize efficiency, and elevate work quality.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for both high-growth startups and established tech firms
  • Proficiency in navigating and closing complex compensation negotiations
  • Strong proficiency in Greenhouse, Ashby, or similar enterprise-level ATS
  • Experience identifying and engaging passive talent in competitive markets

Compensation & Benefits

The base range for this position is $115,000 - $167,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
