This team strives to maximise revenue-generating opportunities for venue hire events and filming, engaging a wide range of corporate and private clients.</p> <p>Reporting into the Head of Events and Catering, this role will lead on the sales of events and filming at the Natural History Museum, from seated dinners and drinks receptions for up to 2,500 guests to a wide range of filming projects.</p> <p>This role will involve leading a team of Events Sales Managers, overseeing the commercial sales of all Venue Hire events and building on the successful events business within this internationally renowned venue.</p> <p>You will develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy, taking a proactive approach to winning new business, growing existing business and managing key clients.</p> <h2>About you</h2> <p>The successful candidate will be highly motivated and inspirational team leader who has experience achieving ambitious targets. You will have strong financial acumen, and will regularly produce business plans, forecasts and present results.</p> <p>You will be highly organised with significant experience in selling a venue.
