Location: London, UK / Hybrid Remote

We have an office in London and this position can either be based in the office, or hybrid remote, with the expectation of attending the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays (subject to your existing legal right to work in the jurisdiction).

About the Role

HERE is growing and we are hiring for an experienced Sales Director, Government Sector to join our EMEA Sales team. This role will be crucial for expanding our Enterprise SaaS footprint across large government organisations and the public sector. Sales Directors work to drive new business, creating pipelines with new relationships and further expanding within those firms.Driving the successful adoption of the HERE technology platform across the Government Sector and increasing the overall customer base is at the core of this position's responsibilities.

Commercial success will be measured through building and maintaining a significant pipeline of opportunities, along with effectively communicating our Enterprise SaaS value proposition, and successfully managing opportunities.This role will be focused on selling to the UK.

Our ideal candidate must bring a strong, demonstrable track record of generating and closing Enterprise SaaS deals within the Government space. Please note, this is an individual contributor role and the person in the seat will be responsible for growing and achieving their own sales targets, not managing a team.

Responsibilities
  • Build a strong pipeline : Build and mature a pipeline with proactive prospecting, initiating effective contact, and strategic account networking. Leverage our sales technology and AI tools to drive your own efficiency and deliver value-led sales messaging
  • Meet sales quota and drive success : Conduct and execute on sales campaigns, achieving annual sales targets with a robust, measurable sales process (we follow MEDDICC). Effectively communicate your opportunity progression.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships : Cultivate and sustain valuable client relationships while navigating the complete sales cycle
  • Become a solutions consultant: Build out comprehensive insights into security and productivity industry trends, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation strategies and apply those to customer-specific challenges, use cases and priorities to best align our solution with customer needs
  • Become a HERE Expert : Quickly developing a deep understanding of our product and underlying technology to clearly communicate our value proposition with confidence to senior stakeholders, including both business leaders, engineering and security teams. Represent HERE at industry events and assist with lead generation strategies
What We're Looking For
  • Strong industry knowledge with a minimum of 8+ years of direct enterprise SaaS sales experience, selling within the government sector
  • Confident command selling to the UK and knowledge of the government ecosystem
  • Prior experience selling enterprise level productivity tools and independently generating pipeline from proactive outreach
  • A proven track record for generating and closing large deals within direct sales
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms combined with the knowledge and aptitude to present skills to articulate value proposition and align with customer priorities
  • The ability to manage stakeholder communications and drive a sales process from start to finish
  • Experience working with partners for lead generation and opportunity collaboration
  • A genuine enthusiasm and interest in both technology and our product mission
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
