Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, boosting sales through upselling techniques
  • Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an attractive and organized store layout
  • Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves, and participating in regular stock checks
  • Promote store promotions and upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities

Experience

  • Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for enthusiastic learners
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is a plus
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and courteously
  • Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
  • Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques will help excel in this role
