Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary sales contact to all Utz retailers/customers within an assigned territory, serving as their exclusive point of contact. Engage store decision-makers, providing recommendations to enhance ROI through the optimal display of Utz products. Assesson-site product inventory and determine recommended purchase quantities and product varieties to maintain a consistent and adequate presence. Upsell and introduce new Utz products as appropriate to new and current customers/retailers. Identifies opportunities for additional and high-impact product displays to increase consumer engagement and sales. Participate in the negotiation of product prices, location, displays, and mix. Solicit,process, and immediately fulfill product orders associated with sales activities. Developand maintain strong, professional relationships with key store management. Ensureproper product rotation (back to front) and remove outdated or non-saleable items to uphold quality and maximize sales. Job Requirements Requires a valid driver’s license. Must be 21 years old or older, and have, or be able to obtain, a DOT medical card. Previous route sales experience and knowledge of the snack foods business preferred. Prior experience using an Enterprise Resource System such as D365 is highly preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Requires independent decision making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity. Must be able to operate a route sales delivery step van or box truck in a safe and competent manner. Requires the ability to walk, sit, talk, bend, stand, twist, push, and pull frequently and for long periods. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, load, and transport light to medium weight products into accounts through the use of a hand truck. Requires the ability to work at an indoor and outdoor environment, exposed to various temperatures.
