Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 – 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues. Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.
- Mentor/coach/train our Behavioral Health Associates
- Minimize risks and maintain resident and staff safety
- Create and present trainings to behavioral health associates
- Ensure room searches are completed and documented
- Maintain attendance record
- Maintain staffing ratios
- Ensure JCAHO guideline documentation is timely completed
- Perform Fire /earthquake drills monthly
- Develop schedule for staffing monthly
- Attend treatment meetings weekly/documentation
- Housekeeping items as needed (dish washing, laundry, etc.)
- Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Supervisor/Manager role with direct reports
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in behavioral health.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 21+ years of age or older
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Current driver's license
- Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
- Skilled in de-escalating agitated adolescents
- Preferred
- One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field.
