[Remote/WFM] Sr. IT Project Manager, Enterprise Applications

Â Â About the Role The Sr. IT Project Manager, Enterprise Applications is part of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for effectively managing multiple IT projects within Retail and Enterprise Applications Portfolio. This role is highly cross-functional and requires partnering with various departments and third-party vendors. Responsibilities include managing and leading all project activities between cross functional IT teams, business departments, and vendors. This position will report to the Program Manager, Enterprise Applications and will be a contract role with the possibility for contract extension or contract conversion. This position is not eligible for fully remote work. You'll Make a Difference by Managing multiple complex cross functional projects simultaneously that may span multiple departments in a hybrid project methodology environment Owning the full-life cycle ensuring successful delivery includes full implementation through initiation, requirements gathering, design, testing (FUT, QA, SIT, UAT), training, deployment, and adoption Understanding the interdependence between technology, operations, and business needs Taking time to understand and learn business processes, reach out to experts, ask the right questions, and prioritize and perform necessary follow-ups to resolve issues Adhering to defined IT PMO processes, completing necessary project documentation & tasks and obtaining necessary approvals Creating, executing, and managing comprehensive project plans to include scope, schedule, budget, and people resources Managing change requests, risks, and issues, escalating as needed Providing status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across all levels of the organization Acting as a servant leader, clearing obstacles and ensuring team members have what they need to complete assigned tasks Completing other tasks as assigned About You Bachelor's degree focused on Business, IT, or other relevant fields 7+ years of project management experience leading IT focused cross functional initiatives 5+ years of experience managing Retail, PLM, B2B and SAP related IT projects Experience leading and implementing enhancement projects related to SAP S4 or SAP AFS, Centric PLM, B2B Elastic, Infor and Retail IT Systems (Teamwork POS) Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) A self-starter who can work independently to effectively manage assigned projects and deliver them on time, scope, and budget Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills Strong communication skills, both written and oral Demonstrated ability to effectively work with associates at all levels of the organization, including executive sponsors, managers, technical staff, and business team members Experience negotiating, influencing, and gaining buy-in from project stakeholders Ability to quickly troubleshoot and solve problems Proficient with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio Proficient with project management tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet Proficient with collaboration tools, e.g. Zoom, Teams, Box Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred Strong understanding of integration methodologies, having experience with complex integration projects is preferred Master's degree focused on Business, IT, or other relevant fields preferred About Ariat Ariat is an innovative, outdoor global brand with roots in equestrian performance.
