The role focuses on network data review, enterprise infrastructure analysis, and scripting, requiring professionals to analyze real-world data and prepare it for machine learning workflows. Responsibilities Review real-world data from deployed networks, including logs, configurations, telemetry, event streams, and related infrastructure data Label, classify, and analyze network behaviors, issues, anomalies, and recurring patterns Interpret logs, events, time-series metrics, packet captures, and troubleshooting evidence Apply Level 3 or Tier 3 troubleshooting judgment to identify root causes, stability issues, and meaningful network signals Write scripts or tools to process, clean, redact, classify, and transform network data Use Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar tools for log processing, compliance checks, monitoring support, configuration audits, or data preparation Help define schemas and structure for large-scale network data pipelines Support high-quality data preparation so raw infrastructure data can be used effectively in machine learning systems Apply hands-on experience with enterprise networks, including switches, access points, firewalls, and related infrastructure Work from real support scenarios involving outages, final escalations, RCAs, on-call troubleshooting, and stability issues Analyze end-customer network environments across industries such as retail, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, universities, hospitality, or similar sectors Collaborate with project teams to improve data quality, usability, and technical accuracy Skills Experience as a Level 3, Tier 3, Principal Support Engineer, senior network support engineer, or comparable enterprise network specialist Strong scripting ability using Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar tools Enterprise infrastructure troubleshooting expertise Interest in how network data supports intelligent infrastructure systems Hands-on experience with enterprise networks, including switches, access points, firewalls, and related infrastructure Experience with end-customer enterprise networks involving switches, access points, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, routing, switching, or security appliances Comfort interpreting logs, events, telemetry, packet captures, and time-series metrics Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment Academic backgrounds in network engineering, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, data engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical fields Equivalent hands-on enterprise network support experience Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or comparable networking certifications Experience automating network support tasks or working with data pipelines Familiarity with telemetry systems, syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or related observability tools Experience with log redaction, compliance checks, monitoring automation, configuration validation, or large-scale network data preparation Exposure to ML-ready data pipelines, infrastructure analytics, or autonomous networking concepts Availability for full-time project commitment depending on project scope Benefits Independent contractor role Fully remote with flexible scheduling Eligible professionals should be based in the United States depending on project needs San Francisco, CA onsite collaboration may be preferred depending on project requirements Full-time commitment depending on project scope Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance Company Overview At 24-MAG, we support emerging AI and consulting platforms by sourcing and connecting qualified professionals with remote, contract-based opportunities.
