Job Summary

Story4Change is seeking a creative and passionate Remote Content Creator to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling and impactful content that tells the stories of the communities we serve and drives engagement across digital platforms. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful social impact initiatives.

As a Remote NGO Content Creator, you will collaborate with program managers, communications teams, and volunteers to craft content that resonates with diverse audiences, promotes awareness, and supports fundraising campaigns. Your work will play a pivotal role in helping Story4Change amplify its mission and influence positive change in society.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, engaging, and original content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and website pages.
  • Develop visual content, such as graphics, videos, and infographics, to support storytelling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with program teams to capture and communicate impact stories from beneficiaries and community projects.
  • Maintain the NGO’s voice, tone, and messaging consistently across all content.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and alignment with campaigns.
  • Monitor content performance, analyze engagement metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Research and stay updated on trends in social impact, content marketing, and digital storytelling.
  • Assist in fundraising and awareness campaigns by creating persuasive content that drives donor engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, digital storytelling, or social media management (NGO or nonprofit experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong creative skills with an eye for visual storytelling and multimedia content.
  • Ability to adapt content to different audiences and platforms effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, etc.) and content management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or communications.
  • Experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, or mission-driven organizations is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • This is a fully remote role with flexible working hours.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate with international teams across different time zones is essential.
