[Remote] Application Analyst Lead - Epic Professional Billing

NeerInfo Solutions is seeking an Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of Epic Professional Billing applications. This role involves collaborating with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and technical teams to optimize billing workflows and improve revenue capture while ensuring compliance with organizational goals. Responsibilities Analyze business and operational requirements related to professional billing and revenue cycle processes Configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) functionality Collaborate with physicians, practice managers, billing staff, and stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and system enhancements Support charge capture, claim generation, coding workflows, payment posting, denials management, and reimbursement processes Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution Develop and execute test plans for upgrades, new functionality, and system changes Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, build specifications, and training materials Provide end-user support and assist with training activities Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, and implementation projects Ensure compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards Work with integrated Epic applications, including Cadence, Prelude, HIM, Resolute, and other revenue cycle modules as needed Coordinate with technical teams on interfaces, reporting, and data validation activities Skills Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification, Accreditation, or Proficiency Experience supporting Epic Professional Billing workflows and revenue cycle operations Strong understanding of physician billing, coding, claims processing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle management Experience with system configuration, testing, implementation, and production support Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 5–10+ years of Epic analyst experience in healthcare environments Experience with additional Epic applications such as Epic Resolute Professional Billing Company Overview Neer Info Solutions is a boutique executive search firm and has been in the search industry since 2005.
