[Remote] Admissions Operations Coordinator

Columbia College is an educational institution seeking an Admissions Operations Coordinator to manage the admissions application process for undergraduate and graduate students. The role involves reviewing application files, processing documents, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities Perform job duties in accordance with Columbia College’s vision, mission, and values, and contribute to the development of the Admissions Operations Department Review completed and incomplete application files for admission to the college for undergraduate and graduate admissions Track undergraduate and graduate admission file process and verify the accuracy of applicant file information Process application materials and supporting documents by entering data into the student information system and imaging documents to applicant and student records Support admissions recruitment activities by assisting with on-campus and virtual events as needed Maintain processing volumes that consistently meet established accuracy, productivity, and service-level expectations Prioritize workload based on enrollment deadlines, daily operational needs, student service expectations, and institutional priorities Assist with the testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of admissions processes, systems, and operational initiatives Review and resolve applications containing conflicting, incomplete, or inconsistent information, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation Review admission decisions and applicant records to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations related to admissions processing and decision-making Practice superior customer service Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned Display respect and civility to all constituencies in all communications Attend work timely and on a regular basis during the established hours of operation; work additional hours as business necessitates Skills Ability to fluently read, write, and understand the English language Proficiency with the following, but not limited to active listening, speaking, writing, critical thinking, judgment and decision making, monitoring, reading comprehension, time management, coordination, and management of personnel resources Proficiency in using a variety of computer and technology-related software and equipment, including Microsoft Office products and database systems Proficiency in using web-based technologies, including database systems Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with or without direct supervision Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills Accurate data entry, detail-oriented, and task-driven with the ability to multitask Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration High School Graduate Associate's Degree Preferred experience with TargetX and Salesforce Preferred experience with SoftDocs Preferred experience with Ellucian Colleague Company Overview OFFICIAL LinkedIn of Columbia College (Columbia, MO) It was founded in 1851, and is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
