Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement community health programs aimed at disease prevention, health promotion, and education.
  • Collaborate with public health agencies, hospitals, non-profits, and government bodies to align program objectives with community needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments, data collection, and program evaluations to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for healthcare providers and community members.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations to secure funding and partnerships.
  • Stay updated with public health policies, guidelines, and emerging trends to ensure programs are evidence-based.
  • Support crisis response efforts, including public health emergencies and outbreaks, by coordinating logistics and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in health program management, public health outreach, or community development.
  • Strong knowledge of health systems, policy frameworks, and preventive care strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting software, and public health databases.
  • Experience in grant writing and partnership development is an asset.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain trust with community members and stakeholders.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in public health coordination, community health initiatives, or program implementation.
  • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or healthcare providers is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing large-scale community health events or campaigns.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Flexibility required for evening or weekend events and emergency responses.
  • Hybrid work environment with periodic in-office collaboration sessions.
