Location: Hybrid (Chicago, Illinois) 1 day/week in-office


This is a full-time position. Employees located in the Greater Chicagoland Area or Dallas/Frisco area are currently expected to work from the office 1 day per week; however, this is subject to change.

Role Overview 

The Product Marketing Manager for Pathfinder at AVANT will own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for AVANT’s strategic platform offering. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, translating Pathfinder’s capabilities into compelling values for Trusted Advisors and their end customers. They will develop the marketing resources required to promote the product, as well as build effective onboarding and training support to drive adoption, utilization, and loyalty. The Product Marketing Manager must maintain a firm grasp of the market landscape and the target audiences. This person will be an individual contributor but will collaborate closely with product and sales management as well as their marketing peers. 


 Go-To-Market Strategy 

  • Lead GTM planning and execution for new Pathfinder features, enhancements, and launches. 
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure aligned and impactful rollouts.  
  • Report on GTM effectiveness and recommend optimizations. 

Positioning & Messaging 

  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for AVANT Pathfinder across key audiences.  
  • Continuously refine value propositions based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights.  
  • Work closely with sales leaders and product team as well as content, digital, and creative marketing peers to ensure AVANT’s differentiated value is clearly articulated, consistently delivered, and measurable in impact across the ecosystem. 
  • Ensure messaging is woven into broader programs, events, and campaigns. 

Content & Campaign Support 

  • Collaborate with sales, product and marketing peers to develop ongoing and evergreen campaigns that drive awareness and      adoption.  
  • Contribute to thought leadership content, case studies, and customer stories highlighting Pathfinder value. 

Sales Enablement/Training 

  • Align with sales leadership to identify opportunities to accelerate pipeline and adoption. 
  • Create and maintain high-impact enablement materials to be used by sales and Trusted Advisors to understand and ultimately sell the features, benefits, and values of the product. 
  • In conjunction with product and sales ops, develop training materials and protocols for internal teams and Trusted Advisors on Pathfinder capabilities and use cases.  

Market & Competitive Intelligence 

  • Monitor competitive landscape, dynamics, and emerging trends in technology marketplaces, AI-driven discovery, and advisory platforms and provide assessments and recommendations to leadership.  
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and GTM strategy.  

Reporting and Refinement 

  • Work with sales ops and product to determine the best approach to track and report on usage metrics, trends, feature and functionality adoption, and platform interactions. 
  • Utilize real-time tracking and reporting to influence optimization of GTM strategies, campaigns, and TA outreach. 
  • Track launch adoption to understand and refine the approach for future enhancements. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or technology platforms.  
  • Proven experience owning product positioning and executing go-to-market strategies.  
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models, partner ecosystems, or advisory-based selling (preferred).  
  • Demonstrated experience launching and scaling complex, technical products or features. 
  • Experience creating sales enablement content and training materials working closely with other internal teams. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and feedback into strategic insights.  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.  
  • Well-versed in campaign development and brand amplification. 
  • Strong ability to translate complex, technical offerings into clear, compelling, targeted materials that enforce the AVANT value narrative. 
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, reporting and dashboarding tools (Power BI), product management tools (Pendo preferred), AI marketing tools, Salesforce/SFMC.

  • Pathfinder adoption and engagement metrics increase across the Trusted Advisor community. 
  • Sales teams and partners consistently use and advocate for Pathfinder in their workflows.  
  • Clear, compelling messaging is consistently reflected across all channels and touchpoints.  
  • Successful launches of new features with measurable impacts on pipeline and usage.  
  • Strong alignment between product, sales, and marketing teams on Pathfinder strategy.  
  • Positive feedback from TAs on ease of use, value, and differentiation.  
  • Collaborative creation of training materials that result in increased and more efficient use of Pathfinder and all its features.
