Personal Assistant to the CEO (Maternity Cover)

35 hrs per week (ft)

£32,820 pa

About the Role

You will be the main point of contact for the CEO and Director of Finance, managing diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing correspondence, and supporting governance and complaints processes. You'll also contribute to the smooth running of Diocesan House and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a varied and rewarding role that requires discretion, initiative, and a collaborative spirit. You'll work closely with senior leaders, clergy, and colleagues across the diocese.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

· Proven experience in a similar PA or administrative role

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms

· A calm, professional and proactive approach

· A commitment to the values and ethos of the Diocese of Norwich

· Knowledge of Church of England structure is desirable but not essential.

So, if you have excellent secretarial skills, are well organised and want to be part of a great team then this position is for you.

Additional Information

· Attendance at occasional evening or weekend meetings/events may be required

· A current driving licence and access to a car for travel across Norfolk is essential

· The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS check and provide proof of right to work in the UK
