<p>Job Details</p><p>Job Location: North Canton, OH - Canton, OH</p><p>Position Type: Part Time</p><p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p><p>Job Shift: Day</p><p>PT Nursing Instructor</p><p>ONLINE MSN NURSING INSTRUCTOR - PART TIME - SCHEDULED LIVE LECTURE - DAYTIME</p><p>Synchronous classes: most courses are 10-12 hours a week, anytime between the hours of 8am-5pm. Most are 8-12p, 9:30-3:30, 11a4:30p type blocks for 2 days a week.</p><p>Ross is a growing nursing school, with future new locations and leadership opportunities.</p><p>Daytime hours and part time, with month to month scheduling. We will provide you with complete training in our curriculum and standards to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your new teaching role. We have experienced mentors to help you get started.</p><p>You will instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required.</p><p>PT Nursing Instructor</p><p>Requirements for an Online Nursing Instructor:</p><p>* Online teaching experience with platforms</p><p>* MSN, preferably with a focus in education (NO BSN FOR THIS PLEASE)</p><p>* Part time</p><p>* Synchronous classroom with specific online times</p><p>* passion for online nursing education and student engagement</p><p>* proven successful outcomes in online teaching</p><p>* knowledgeable about online teaching strategies</p><p>* an understanding of the NCLEX test plan and incorporating focus areas into courses</p><p>* Dependable with a history of compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing rules and regulations</p><p>* Excellent communication skills and ability to encourage student success</p><p>* High speed internet access with computer tech skills</p><p>* Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care</p><p>* Online instructing experience or learning preferred</p><p>* Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse</p><p>* Must supply own equipment: Laptop/Desktop, Webcam, Microphone and dependable high-speed internet access</p><p>* Must have quiet, calm dedicated workspace</p><p>* Must live/work within driving distance to a Ross campus (MI, OH, IN, KY, TN)</p><p>* Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics</p><p>* Must be flexible and have a desire to learn</p><p>Ross is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
