Incorporates the components of clinical practice, affiliate workflows and regulatory requirements to ensure a cohesive clinical information system that reflects the total patient care experience. Utilizing clinical knowledge and advanced problem solving skills, functions as the primary champion and spokesperson for all non-physician clinical care givers and is the bridge between local, regional and enterprise IS organizations and end-users working collaboratively with the IS Support Team, Nursing Leadership, and selected technology companies to impact change for ongoing optimization of clinical information systems and associated applications. Responsible for validating and redesigning work flow and clinical content review for all clinical areas. Develops and maintains interdisciplinary teams to partner and resolve issues identified. Identifies, reviews and recommends process and policy changes related to clinical documentation that may be further impacted by the evolution of the Sutter Health's clinical information systems.
