Role Purpose<br><br>The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a <strong>Night Auditor</strong>, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional overnight service while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of daily financial operations. You'll provide a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests, assist with overnight requests, complete end-of-day accounting procedures, and help prepare the hotel for a successful new day.<br><br><strong>Pay:</strong> $37.50/hour<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br><ul><li>Be the welcoming face of the hotel during overnight hours, delivering exceptional guest service with every interaction.</li><li>Greet and acknowledge IHG One Rewards members and returning guests, in person or over the phone.</li><li>Check guests in and out efficiently while processing room assignments, issuing room keys, and verifying identification.</li><li>Handle guest inquiries, requests, concerns, and emergencies professionally, resolving issues independently whenever possible and escalating to management when needed.</li><li>Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.</li><li>Complete the nightly audit by balancing daily revenue, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring all transactions are posted correctly.</li><li>Verify and correct discrepancies between front office, food and beverage, and other hotel departments as part of the end-of-day close.</li><li>Prepare reports and documentation for hotel management and the incoming morning team.</li><li>Monitor hotel security throughout the night by conducting routine property walks, following safety procedures, and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies.</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls, manage reservations, and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through room upgrades or additional services.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area throughout the shift.</li><li>Take pride in your appearance and represent the brand with professionalism at all times.</li><li>Stay informed of daily hotel events, arrivals, departures, and operational updates to provide accurate information to guests.</li><li>Assist with additional operational or administrative duties as needed to support the overnight operation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Skills & Experiences<br><br></strong><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding guest service during overnight hours.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the confidence to work independently.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and completing audit procedures.</li><li>Comfortable using property management systems, computers, Microsoft Office applications, and basic accounting functions.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.</li><li>Ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive during emergencies or high-pressure situations.</li><li>Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Fluency in the local language is required; additional language skills are an asset.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.
