Job Summary

LearnMore DK is a dynamic non-governmental organization dedicated to improving education access for underprivileged communities globally. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven NGO Project Coordinator – Education Access to lead and manage education-focused initiatives that empower children, youth, and marginalized groups. The ideal candidate will work closely with local communities, educational institutions, donors, and government bodies to ensure the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of projects aimed at reducing educational disparities. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, field coordination, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and oversee education access projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with LearnMore DK’s mission and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate with schools, local authorities, and community leaders to identify educational gaps and develop intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress using defined metrics, ensuring that outcomes and objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports, case studies, and presentations to donors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Lead community outreach efforts, workshops, and training sessions to raise awareness about education rights and opportunities.
  • Facilitate partnerships with other NGOs, governmental bodies, and private organizations to expand project impact.
  • Support fundraising efforts by contributing to grant proposals and funding reports.
  • Supervise project teams, including field staff and volunteers, offering guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and local laws.
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing education or social development projects, preferably within NGOs or international organizations.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of donor requirements, grant writing, and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in NGO project coordination or similar roles.
  • Experience working in education-related projects or community development initiatives is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
  • Experience in grant proposal writing and donor reporting is desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexibility to work across different time zones and locations.
