Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and organized Program Assistant – Education Sector to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of educational programs aimed at improving learning outcomes for children and youth. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of education programs, including scheduling, logistics, and resource planning.
  • Support program monitoring and evaluation by collecting data, tracking progress, and preparing reports for internal teams and donors.
  • Maintain communication with field teams, community leaders, and partner organizations to ensure timely execution of activities.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and educational outreach initiatives.
  • Manage documentation, including attendance records, financial reports, and program materials.
  • Help in preparing proposals, presentations, and newsletters to communicate program achievements and needs.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in NGO operations, community development, or educational programming is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Experience

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • Flexibility required to support events, field visits, or meetings outside regular office hours.
