<strong><b>Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first</b></strong><br>The Lead Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Lead Product Owner works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.<br><br>Our newest initiative, <b>CenterWell Medical Group (CWMG)</b>, is redefining how seniors' access and experience healthcare. Through a virtual-first platform, we provide comprehensive primary and preventive care-anytime, anywhere. This innovative model closes care gaps, improves outcomes, and empowers patients to take control of their health, while equipping clinicians with advanced tools to enhance care delivery and engagement.<br><br>The CWMG digital platform includes, but is not limited to, Genesys telephony systems and athenahealth's electronic medical record (EMR), enabling seamless communication, care coordination, and clinical documentation across virtual care settings.<br><br>We are looking for a visionary, strategic, and execution-oriented <b>Lead Product Owner</b> to drive the strategy, development, and continuous optimization of this platform. In this high-impact role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital health by delivering innovative, patient-centered solutions that improve access, quality, and continuity of care.<br><br>You will lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of digital-first care experiences, working at the intersection of technology, clinical operations, and user experience. Partnering with cross-functional teams-including clinicians, engineers, user experience, and business stakeholders-you will deliver scalable, clinically impactful solutions that enhance patient engagement, health outcomes, and care coordination. This role requires a forward-thinking product leader with deep experience in digital health, agile methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Own the CenterWell Medical Group digital product by defining and communicating a clear vision and roadmap, and driving strategy, execution, and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals and healthcare trends.</li><li>Lead the integration and optimization of key platform components, including athenahealth's EMR and the Genesys telephony system, to support clinical workflows, care coordination, patient communications, and call center operations.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless interoperability across EMR, telephony, and other digital tools, enabling a cohesive and efficient care delivery experience.</li><li>Facilitate agile ceremonies and work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions that meet the needs of patients and providers.</li><li>Leverage user research, analytics, and clinical insights to guide product decisions, enhance care delivery, and optimize the overall platform experience.</li><li>Define and track KPIs to measure product success, communicate progress to senior leadership, and adapt to evolving priorities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while embedding safety, equity, and quality into all aspects of the product.</li></ul><br><strong><b>Use your skills to make an impact </b></strong><br><br><b>Required Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree</li><li>A minimum of five years of product management experience</li><li>A minimum of three years in digital health or virtual care</li><li>Hands-on experience with electronic medical records (preferably athenahealth) and telephony platforms (such as Genesys), including integration, optimization, and support for clinical and operational workflows.</li><li>Proven ability to define and deliver product roadmaps using Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and leading agile ceremonies.</li><li>Strong understanding of value-based care models, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.</li><li>Demonstrated success using data, user research, and clinical insights to guide product decisions, improve outcomes, and track key KPIs (e.g., roadmap delivery, feature adoption, NPS, care gap closure).</li><li>Excellent collaboration skills with clinicians, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, and strong communication abilities to influence senior leadership and non-technical audiences.</li></ul><br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Master's degree</li><li>Experience in senior-focused or Medicare Advantage care models, especially within virtual or hybrid care delivery systems.</li><li>athenahealth experience preferred <br><br>Certification in Agile or Product Management, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or Pragmatic Institute certification.</li></ul><br><br><b>Additional Information</b> <br><ul><li>100% remote role</li><li>Standard working hours required; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Central or Eastern Time Zones</li></ul><br><br><b>Work at Home Statement </b><br><br>To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:<br><ul><li>At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.</li><li>Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.</li><li>Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.</li><li>Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.</li><li>Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.</li></ul><br><br>Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.<br><br><b>Scheduled Weekly Hours</b><br><br>40<br><br><b>Pay Range</b><br>The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.<br><br>$115,200 - $158,400 per year<br><br>This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
