Key Accounts Account Executive II, Travel

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

We're looking for a dynamic Senior Account Executive who will identify and drive new opportunities to build out our rapidly-growing Travel merchant business. You will operate on the front-lines and be closely engaged with the market - developing and expanding relationships with business influencers and decision-makers. You will engage with the most established players, creating customer value and forging new commercial partnerships in an efficient timeframe.

You're intrinsically motivated by selling to the Travel industry and are excited for the challenge to partner with the largest merchants in the industry. Your role will have a direct impact on top-priority, company-wide goals and will provide accelerated learning opportunities with a world-class team.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and target new Travel industry business opportunities across multiple verticals including hospitality, airlines, cruise, OTAs, car rentals and beyond.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, exceeding revenue targets.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and trends to position our products and services effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand evolving needs and challenges.
  • Customize solutions to address client-specific challenges and goals.
  • Present proposals and conduct product demonstrations effectively.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue.
  • Document all client interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze market data to identify product and service improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless client experience.
  • Share insights and feedback from the field to shape company offerings.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven sales success in B2B Travel industry sales (6+ years), Enterprise Sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience leading a multiple cross-functional team sales process.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to be creative in prospecting and closing.
  • Deep understanding of Travel industry challenges and trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Willingness to consistently travel for client meetings.

Pay Grade - USA 50

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.

USA On Target Earnings (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:

Min: $300,400

Mid: $330,400

Max: $360,400

USA On Target Earnings (all other U.S. states) per year:

Min: $270,400

Mid: $297,400

Max: $324,400
