As a Junior Designer & Illustrator, you'll play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling that brings our mission to life - helping people feel supported, understood, and inspired to care for their well-being. You'll collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and clinical content teams to create thoughtful visuals, engaging illustrations, and cohesive brand experiences across digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Designer and Video Content Producer with the creation of materials such as posters, social media posts, leaflets, animations, and more
  • Create new illustrations and amend existing illustrations to expand the Lyra International illustration asset library in order to support business needsUpdate and amend existing client and marketing materials, according to customer requirements
  • Support other departments within the business with digital design requirements as required
  • Collaborate on ideation and workshop sessions with the Content and Marketing team
  • Ensure consistency in design principles and branding across company platforms

Minimum level of experience required

  • 1-2 years’ experience of illustration and design experience, either in-house or freelance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field is preferred
  • Please include a portfolio of your previous work with your application

Minimum skillset required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, along with other relevant design software
  • Strong eye for detail
  • A flair for creativity, and a keen eye for aesthetics, bringing fresh and original ideas to the table
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and customer feedback
  • A passion for wellbeing and/or mental health
  • A proactive approach to work
