Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Human Resources Manager to join our team. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity that will allow you to directly influence and drive our organizational success. As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all HR functions for our growing company, ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to our employees while adhering to the core values of Progressive Technology. You will play a key role in supporting the overall HR strategy, creating a supportive and productive work environment, and enhancing employee engagement across all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to both employees and management, addressing HR issues, conflicts, and performance concerns effectively and confidentially.

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment efforts, working closely with hiring managers to attract top talent, and manage the full-cycle hiring process. Oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new employees.

  • Performance Management: Support managers in the implementation and execution of performance reviews, development plans, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Compliance: Ensure all HR policies, processes, and practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date on changes in HR laws and industry trends.

  • Employee Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention, including recognition programs, surveys, and team-building activities.

  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate learning and development programs, and help employees grow in their careers through professional development initiatives.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation structures, benefits administration, and ensure employees are receiving competitive and fair packages.

  • HR Systems Management: Maintain and improve HR software systems for record-keeping, reporting, and tracking employee data.

  • Health and Safety: Ensure workplace safety protocols are followed, and promote well-being and mental health initiatives across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in an HR leadership role, ideally within a remote or hybrid work environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • Proficient in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS).

  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees and leadership.

Working Hours

  • This position is remote and flexible, offering a standard 40-hour workweek with the opportunity for occasional overtime during peak times.

  • Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, though flexibility is provided for different time zones.
