Role Overview The Enrollment Marketing Consultant (EMC) serves as a strategic partner to institutions engaged with Encoura through the Enrollment Marketing Solutions team. Working in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing Strategy, the EMC supports the development, execution, and optimization of data-informed enrollment marketing strategies designed to help institutions achieve their enrollment goals. This role contributes to the full campaign lifecycle, including student search strategy, communication planning, campaign coordination, reporting, and performance optimization. The EMC partners closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on time, aligned with institutional objectives, and to build strong, consultative relationships with partner institutions. A Day in the Life Support assigned institutions through the planning, execution, and optimization of enrollment marketing campaigns and communication strategies Build and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions through proactive communication, responsiveness, and ongoing collaboration Analyze institutional enrollment goals, current marketing efforts, and areas of opportunity to support strategic recommendations Assist in translating institutional needs into actionable marketing plans aligned with enrollment objectives Contribute to renewal conversations and identify opportunities for additional solutions or services that align with institutional goals and challenges Coordinate with Enrollment Services on student search strategy, prospect segmentation, and purchase planning Develop and implement electronic and print communication plans, along with the creative team, aligned to institutional objectives and campaign strategies Support digital marketing efforts through campaign coordination, execution support, and performance monitoring Partner with internal teams, including Enrollment Services, Eduventures, Financial Aid Consulting, Digital Operations, creative/production teams, and others, to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule Contribute to cross-functional teams or pods responsible for executing complex, multi-channel enrollment marketing initiatives Monitor campaign performance and enrollment metrics, identifying trends and recommending adjustments as needed Prepare and deliver client reporting, campaign summaries, strategic updates, and performance insights Incorporate insights from enrollment consulting, market research, and data analysis into campaign recommendations and planning Proactively optimize efforts and align student search strategy with communications, digital marketing, and prospect engagement activities Maintain awareness of enrollment marketing trends, student search strategies, and data-informed best practices to support client success Lead client presentations, training sessions, and strategic discussions as needed Support internal collaboration and alignment around client goals, campaign priorities, and project execution Contribute to team knowledge sharing, process improvement, and best practice development Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to strengthen expertise in enrollment marketing strategy, communications, and analytics Role Progression Within 1 month, you’ll Understand department structure and observe client engagements. Within 3 months, you’ll Actively participate in client facing solutions and internal cross functional teams. Within 6 months, you’ll Assume responsibility for assigned clients and manage ongoing projects. Within 1 year, you’ll Lead project scoping, search strategy, reporting measures, contract renewal conversations, and full campaign deliverables. About you Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred 5+ years of leadership in a marketing services capacity, preferably in an Office of Admissions, Enrollment Management, or Higher Education setting Experience designing and executing complex, goal-oriented marketing campaigns and/or recruitment strategies Ability to understand and communicate multifaceted data and outcomes Prior involvement in strategic student search purchasing and execution Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with public speaking and presenting concepts to large audiences Knowledge of CRM and other admissions technologies preferred Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products and presentation software Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills while fostering honesty, integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to successfully oversee multiple projects concurrently Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment Successful candidates will be required to complete and pass a CLEAR™ identity verification as part of the pre-employment screening process CLEAR™ Candidate FAQ The annual base salary range for this exempt position is $75,000–$93,000 and reflects the midpoint through maximum of the established range for this role. Encoura establishes compensation using national market data, internal equity considerations, and organizational budget factors to ensure fairness and consistency across the organization. Certain roles may also be eligible for variable compensation in addition to base salary.
