Employment Law Paralegal
Salary: From £22,500 (depending on experience)

The Role
TSR Legal are currently recruiting for an Employment Law Paralegal to join a well-established and forward-thinking law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive employment team handling both contentious and non-contentious matters.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, working predominantly on claimant litigation, with some respondent work. As your experience develops, you’ll gain exposure to complex discrimination and protected disclosure cases, within a friendly and collegiate working environment.

Hybrid / Remote Working
This role can be based in Bristol with flexible hybrid working arrangements, including the option for fully remote working.

Hours
Applications are welcomed from both full-time and part-time candidates.
Core business hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, but flexible working patterns can be discussed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims
  • Running a caseload of Employment Tribunal matters, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, negotiating settlements, and instructing counsel
  • Ensuring compliance with service level agreements
  • Supporting senior team members on complex matters

Skills and Experience Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A proactive and adaptable approach with good commercial awareness
  • Confidence in managing your own caseload (with supervision)
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Competent in using case management systems
  • Law degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential
