Director of MARCOM

The Director of Marketing Communications (MARCOM) is responsible for leading the overall marketing, branding, communications, public relations, and digital marketing strategies of the hotel. This role drives brand awareness, enhances the hotel’s image, supports revenue generation, and ensures all marketing activities align with the hotel’s positioning and business goals.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and communication plans to increase brand visibility and market presence.
  • Oversee all advertising, promotional campaigns, media relations, and public relations activities.
  • Manage the hotel’s social media platforms, website content, digital marketing, and online reputation.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams to support business objectives and promotions.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, events, partnerships, and brand activations.
  • Create engaging content including press releases, newsletters, promotional materials, photography, and videos.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners, influencers, tourism boards, and external agencies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure all branding and communication materials comply with brand standards and hotel guidelines.
  • Manage the MARCOM budget effectively and evaluate campaign performance through reports and analytics.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the MARCOM team to achieve departmental goals.

What We need from you:

● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field

● Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team

● Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required

● Must speak local language(s)

● Other languages preferred
