This opportunity is ideal for a licensed<br>mental health professional who enjoys delivering client-centered care, conducting<br>comprehensive assessments, and helping individuals achieve meaningful progress through<br>evidence-based treatment.</p> <p><br><strong>Position Summary</strong><br>The Contract Outpatient Therapist is responsible for conducting diagnostic and comprehensive<br>clinical assessments, providing outpatient therapy services, managing an assigned caseload, and<br>collaborating with clinical leadership to ensure quality care. The ideal candidate brings strong<br>clinical expertise, sound diagnostic judgment, and the ability to work independently while<br>maintaining exceptional documentation and compliance standards.<br>Compensation Structure (Fee-for-Service)<br>• Diagnostic Assessments - 50% per completed assessment<br>• Comprehensive Clinical Assessments - 50% per completed assessment<br>• Outpatient Therapy (Telehealth/In-Person) - 50% per completed session<br>Reports To: Director of Clinical Services and Operations</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and clinical assessments to determine client needs<br>and medical necessity.<br>• Evaluate client urgency, complexity, strengths, risks, and available support systems to<br>inform treatment planning.<br>• Provide outpatient therapy services through telehealth and, when applicable, in-person<br>sessions.<br>• Review and evaluate referrals for eligibility and make admission recommendations in<br>accordance with company policies.<br>• Manage an assigned caseload while maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical<br>documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.<br>• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to support care coordination, resource allocation,<br>and treatment planning.<br>• Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, licensing requirements,<br>and applicable state and federal regulations.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><strong>Required</strong><br>• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health<br>field from an accredited institution.<br>• Active North Carolina licensure as one of the following:<br>o Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSWA)<br>o Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC or LCMHC-A)<br>o Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A)<br>• Preferred minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental<br>health or substance use treatment.<br>• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.<br>• Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and compliance.<br>• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.<br>• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and manage an independent caseload.</p> <p><br><strong>Preferred</strong><br>• Experience providing telehealth behavioral health services.<br>• Experience working with diverse populations across outpatient settings.<br>• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and interdisciplinary care<br>coordination.</p> <p><br><strong>Why Join This Team?</strong><br>• Flexible schedule with the ability to choose your own working hours, including evenings<br>and weekends.<br>• Fully remote work environment with minimal travel requirements.<br>• Company-provided training and ongoing professional development opportunities.<br>• Scheduling support provided by an administrative/front desk team.<br>• Access to company office space and equipment, if needed.<br>• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.<br>Additional Requirements<br>• Must be authorized to work in the United States.<br>• Must maintain active North Carolina professional licensure throughout employment.<br>• Minimal travel to company locations may be required.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment while managing multiple<br>client needs effectively.</p> <p><br><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong><br>Equal Opportunity Employer: Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing and our client are Equal<br>Opportunity Employers.
