Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking diligent and detail-oriented Content Moderators to join our remote team. This home-based role is ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining online quality standards by reviewing, filtering, and approving content across various digital platforms. You will be trained to ensure that all user-generated content aligns with our community guidelines and platform policies. Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review user-generated content on websites, apps, and social media.

  • Identify and flag inappropriate, offensive, or policy-violating content.

  • Approve, reject, or escalate content as per platform guidelines.

  • Maintain content quality and compliance with brand tone and safety.

  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on reported issues.

  • Collaborate with team leads and escalate trending issues.

  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on policy changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and reading comprehension skills in English.

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

  • Ability to focus on repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.

  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • No prior experience required. Full training will be provided.

  • Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or digital operations is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible work schedule (4 to 8 hours/day based on your availability).

  • Shifts available: Day, Evening, and Night (Rotational options offered).

  • Weekend and holiday work may be required based on platform demand.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with content moderation tools or dashboards (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Awareness of online trends, cultural sensitivities, and potential violations.

  • Ability to manage large volumes of content while ensuring accuracy.
