Accounting Role Summary

This role involves taking on key responsibilities such as developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. The successful candidate will lead, manage and monitor accounting functions including generating timely accounting reports.

  • We are looking for a professional to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, monitor general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable and other records, ensure reconciliation of bank accounts and other accounts.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and budget reports, monitor general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable and other records, generate various analyses and financial reports for management.
  • The selected candidate will oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensure compliance with local tax laws, and maintain all aspects of vat and tax of the various concerns of the organization.
  • A strong accounting professional will also be required to manage the organisation's cash flow and treasury operations, including banking relationships and cash management.
  • Key skills and qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
