Role Overview

As a CAD Technician, youll transform design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans. Collaborating with designers and project managers, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate drawings across all project phasesfrom concept to construction.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end projects that challenge conventions and create exceptional spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for luxury interior design projects in line with creative concepts and project briefs.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop layouts, elevations, and construction details.
  • Prepare comprehensive drawing packages for planning, tender, and construction phases.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, design standards, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to address technical queries and update plans.
  • Organize and maintain drawing archives and CAD libraries.
  • Deliver high-quality work within deadlines, with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally in interior design, architecture, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino).
  • Strong understanding of technical drawing conventions, construction detailing, and materials.
  • Ability to interpret and translate design briefs into accurate technical drawings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of luxury interior design principles and high-end finishes.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as Enscape or V-Ray.
  • Experience working on hospitality or residential projects.
