About the position

As an Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team at the delivery station, which serves as the final stop before packages are delivered to customers. This fast-paced and active role involves receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. Your responsibilities will include loading conveyor belts, transporting, and staging deliveries for pick-up by drivers. You will be expected to utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders efficiently. In this role, you will engage in various physical activities, including lifting packages weighing up to 49 pounds, receiving truck deliveries, and following prompts on screens to complete tasks. The job requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during your shifts. You will also be responsible for using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around the warehouse. Depending on the location, you may need to navigate stairs and work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine. The dress code is relaxed, but safety is paramount, requiring comfortable, closed-toe shoes, and in some cases, protective footwear. Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code for new hires to purchase appropriate shoes. Amazon offers a variety of shifts, including full-time, reduced-time, and part-time options, with the flexibility to work additional hours if needed. Employees can also benefit from Anytime Pay, allowing them to cash out up to 70% of their earnings immediately after their shift.
