SALARY: £24,706 - £28,236 FTE / £15,024 to £17,170 per annum (Actual Salary for 22.5 Hours per Week)

LOCATION: Hybrid Working from Home and the office in Llandough, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 22.5 Hours per Week. May include some evening and weekend work (potential flexibility for the right candidate)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Admin Assistant who is highly efficient, organised and creative, with excellent attention to detail.

As an Administrator / Admin Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting fundraising campaigns, producing engaging communications and delivering general administrative support to the team.

In this exciting role as an Administrator / Admin Assistant you will also act as the first point of contact for enquiries, maintain accurate records and contribute to the organisation’s external profile through digital and print channels.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Administrator / Admin Assistant include:

  • First Point of Contact: Respond to, record and direct enquiries professionally and promptly
  • Office Administration: Maintain accurate records, oversee supplies and ensure smooth running of operations
  • Digital Communications: Update website and social media channels with engaging content under guidance of management
  • Marketing Materials: Design and produce leaflets, posters, newsletters, videos and other promotional resources
  • Fundraising Support: Respond to fundraising enquiries, maintain donation records and prepare resources
  • Event Support: Provide administration for fundraising events, committees, volunteers and collections
  • Supporter Engagement: Recognise and thank fundraisers, donors and supporters
  • Compliance: Ensure fundraising activities meet legal requirements and sector guidelines

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Previous experience in administration within a relevant sector
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and adaptable communication skills
  • Creative flair and ability to design marketing and digital materials
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office and ability to quickly learn new systems

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in fundraising, events, communications, sales or creative arts
  • Experience using tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva or equivalent
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in communications or business
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Ability to be resilient, resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic environment

This role requires a DBS check.
